I'm thankful that Forgotten Books has reprinted two lesser known Daniel Defoe books. However, the back cover says they Digitally Remastered the book. I'm not sure exactly what that consisted of. I've purchased several titles from them and this is the least clean one so far. Many pages have underlining and/or handwritten margin notes. It's still very readable and I'm glad I was able to get a copy for a modest price. I've provided a sample page for review so you can decide for yourself before purchasing if the quality is to your standards. (Note that the sample I provided is one of the worst pages. Most are far better.) I wouldn't hesitate to buy over again.A fine example of an early novel. It suffers only by comparison with Defoe's wonderful Moll Flanders.
